Keqing remembers every low-print card that shows up in a server it's in. atrace searches all of it, so you can find a low print of a character without asking around, then make its owner an offer.

#Where the cards come from
Nobody submits cards. Keqing reads Karuta's own messages as people use them:
- Collections. Every page of a
kc, including the pages turned later, since Karuta edits the same message as you page. - Card Details. The card on a
kciorkv.

Keqing posts nothing. Five of these cards go into trace; x9k2pq is print 812, past the 500 it keeps. Turning the page adds the next ten.
Only prints up to 500 in editions 1 to 10 are kept. A code Keqing already has is skipped, so paging over the same collection adds nothing twice. Cards shown under an alias are stored under the character's real name, so c: finds them either way. Indexing runs in every server and every channel, including ones where the search is switched off.

Combine as many as you like; you need at least one. Two print filters make a range, so atrace c:gojo p>9 p<100 returns prints 10 to 99. Each line reads like Karuta's own collection: the print, the code, the edition, the series and the character.

Results come ten a page, up to 500. The footer shows the rows you're on, the full match count when there were more than 500, the page, and how long the search took, as in Showing 1–10 of 500 of 1000 matches (500 limit) | Page 1/50 | Fetched in 3.19s. Only you can turn the pages, and the buttons go away two minutes after the search. atrace has a five second cooldown.

#Is trace fair?
Some players worry that trace breaks Karuta's rules, shows cards from collections they keep private, or makes it easier to get scammed. We've thought about each of these:
- Karuta allows it. Craig confirmed trace doesn't break any rules, so nobody gets banned for using it.
- Codes aren't secret anyway. A code is a few letters and digits, and cards dropped around the same time differ by only two or three characters. Anyone who knows when a card dropped can try codes until one works, bot or no bot. If you don't want to sell, decline the offers and limit DMs to friends. To keep a card out of the results, hide it with
atracehide. - Know the price before you answer. Ask in
#player-adviceon Karuta's official server, check a pricing guide such as the Price Calculator, or wait for more offers before you accept one.
Trace should help collectors find the cards they love and sellers get the best offer for theirs. If you still have concerns, tell us in #feedback-and-suggestions on the support server.
#Turning it off in a channel
Open the dashboard, pick your server and go to Feature restrictions, then choose the channels under Trace and save. atrace then replies that Trace is disabled there. Cards opened in those channels are still indexed, and atracehide, atraceunhide and asetfs keep working.
Keqing needs Embed Links and Read Message History to search, and Read Message History to read the card you reply to.
