This document outlines the privacy policy you accept when adding Keqing Bot to a server or as a member of such a server. We are dedicated to safeguarding your data and ensuring it remains confidential and protected.

By using Keqing Bot, you understand and consent to the collection of the following data:

Message data

Commands sent to Keqing, messages and embeds posted by the Karuta bot, game answers, reactions and button interactions.

User information

Usernames, avatars, discriminators and user IDs.

Server data

Guild channels, roles and IDs.

We collect only what's necessary for the standard operation of Discord bots, including server permissions and data required for essential features. Keqing Bot does not share or sell your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Signing in to the dashboard with Discord shares your Discord user ID, username, avatar and email address with us, along with the list of servers you are in, so the dashboard can show the ones you manage. We never send email to that address.

• A session cookie keeps you signed in until you sign out or the session expires.
• Settings you save for a server, and images you upload such as a Card Competition background, are stored so Keqing can use them in that server.
• Premium payments go through Ko-fi. We never see your card or PayPal details.

Keqing is a companion to the Karuta card game, which has no public API and only communicates through chat messages and embeds. Keqing reads message content for three reasons only:

• Messages that start with the server's prefix, to run commands.
• Messages and embeds posted by the Karuta bot, such as drops, collection pages, card details and date maps, to power drop analysis, card search and calculators.
• Answers typed while a Keqing minigame is running in that channel.

Every other message is ignored. Text you type is processed in memory and is not stored.

Card index

Card codes, character, series, print, edition, frame and owner user ID, read from Karuta collection and card detail embeds so cards can be searched. Kept until the owner asks for deletion.

Correction reports

Text read from a drop image that Keqing could not recognise, with the card position, a message link and the submitter's user ID. Kept to improve card recognition.

Game data

Scores, streaks and history for Keqing minigames, kept so leaderboards work.

Dye samples

Deleted automatically after 30 days.

Server settings

Kept while Keqing is in the server.

Copies of messages posted to a starboard stay on Discord and are not stored by us.

Our database is hosted on MongoDB Atlas, which encrypts data at rest. Connections to it are encrypted, and our internal services talk to each other over an encrypted private network.

Message content is never used to train machine learning or AI models. Keqing uses text recognition and image matching on Karuta card images only to identify cards.

• Server managers choose which features run and in which channels; drop reading stays off until they enable it.
• You can hide your indexed cards from search with the tracehide command.
• You can ask for all of your data to be deleted by joining our support server. Requests are processed within 48 hours.

By adding @Keqing to your server or using this bot in any way, you consent to the policies outlined in this document. Additionally:

• Server managers agree to inform their members of these privacy policies.
• If you disagree with these terms, you may remove the bot from your server.
• Server members who disagree may leave servers containing this bot.
• Service users who disagree may revoke authorization of the application in their Discord “Authorized Apps” menu.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes through our support server or other appropriate channels.
